Questions about gas blow back rifles

Hey before I get started sorry if I'm posting in the wroung place but I'm not real Shure where to post it at. Ok so I'm am interested in buying a gbbr m4. I found one on airsplat for 130. So I have a couple of questions.1. Can I use it in the winter or will it freZez up.2. I have not dealt with a gbbr personally but do know the gas either does freeze or you just have plain ole problems during the winter, yes you have to use a speed loader to load the mags as they are mid cap mags. As far as what extra mags to get not sure, I know they aren't cheap. The best piece of advice I can give you though is to NOT purchase anything from airsplat. I bought a new M4 last month and spent over $300 and didn't receive what I was intended to get and have been getting the run around from them. Lousy customer service! I have had great luck with Evike....anywho good luck.

If I'm not mistaken, that is G&G's copy of GHK's drop-in AEG conversion kit. I don't have hands-on experience with it, but my gut instinct is to steer clear. Get yourself a good used G&P WOC. As far as maintenance goes, pretend it's a real AR. Breakdown is very similar.

Personally, I run a Viper Tech MK18 with gen 1 GHK mags converted to external regulated CO2 from a tank on my back. It's pricey, but it's the Systema PTW of GBBRs. I've run a WE SCAR, G&P challenge kit M4, AGM, Escort, and the Viper Tech. By far, the VT has been the most reliable, though I rarely clean it (I just throw it in a gun bag and set it next to my other gear).

Long story short, you get what you pay for.
