kwa 1911

so my kwa 1911 isnt workin. i gas it up fill it with bbs pull the slide and press the trigger and nothing . anybody got any ideas its brand new.

Call KWA. If you are the original owner (you bought it from a store), then it should be under warranty. They'll probably have you mail it in to them so that they can look at it.

i already talked to parafrog and they told me to bring it in so they can look at it but id rather not have to

well you can always take the gun apart to figure it out. Parafrog is your best bet if your uncomfortable with taking it apart.

1. Does the hammer fall? If yes then something is wrong with the GBB system, or the slide isn't fully in battery (completely forward). If no then either the hammer spring is broken, or <refer to question 3>

2. Does the trigger reset after you pull it? If no then the trigger spring is broken (although that shouldn't effect firing).

3. Is the trigger actually being depressed, or does it not move when you try to pull it? If no then either you're not disengaging the grip safety (remember, 1911s have two safeties) or it's stuck somehow.

Mine has done the same thing, a local airsoft shop said " the firing pins are plastic and crappy the firing pin is broken MOST LIKELY...

Thank you for posting in almost every recent thread to raise your post count. Really isn't obvious.

Anyways, yes gas guns do have a form of "firing pin". Nothing too shocking here, it's been that way since... well, since I remember seeing gas-in-mag guns.
