Flashider removal so i can accomodate a mock suppresor(Help)

I need to remove the flash hider off my combat machine so i can install my mock but since the flash hider is some kind of durable flexible plastic and its glued into the treads i cant get this thing off any tips?? (and yes i removed the tiny alen screw)
I don't care much for the flash hider anymore i just need to get it off without damaging the threads. Also yes i am aware that im removing the orange tip but i will make sure not to branish it out in public and keep it in a bag.

If you really don't want the flash hider, you can do what this guy did:

The guy in the video seemed to over complicate it ima try a butane lighter to heat this sucker up

I personally would not recommend a butane torch as if you are not careful you can melt the flashider onto the gun worse. I have personally done that is my reason behind saying that. Anyways I would sugest that you use some kind of hair dryer on the heat setting and it will take 10 to 15 minutes and it will simply pull off. You will then have to clean the threads with a knife.
