Ignite Black Ops M4 not firing properly

i was wondering if i could actually get some help on this for once. I recently bought an M4, and for some reason, it only fires one round on semi, and around two to seven round on auto. What is causing it to stop firing? is it the magazine? a problem with the barrel? can somebody help a fellow airsofter please, or is this site just like every other site, with people who don't want to help one another? That's the problem with these things. Nobody wants to help anyone. If someone actually manages to prove me wrong on that, it'll be a miracle.

I just got this gun as a christmas gift and i have a problem now with this gun it die and not do anything when i pull the trigger. what can i do about it chrisw670? how can i fix it? any help would be appreciated. Thanks
