If you want to make it more accurate and faster shooting, You will probably need to replace most of the internals. For the accuracy, start with a PDI hop-up unit to increase the consistency of your hop-up. Next you will want an AEG barrel and bucking. I would suggest a Prometheus barrel in an appropriate size. I have heard that ones made for Sig 550's (Or SG550) will work, but cannot confirm that. As for the bucking I would recommend a Firefly. Depending on how hard you make it shoot will determine what hardness you use. That will mimic the V-hop up found in the VSR and Marui pistols. Next, lets move on to power upgrades. You should seriously consider purchasing a zero trigger. I have heard of the stock trigger holding up, but I seriously doubt that it will stand up to serious use. The zero trigger is arguably the best trigger out there for the Type 96. If you go that route, you will need a laylax piston and "accuracy cup". Next, replace your spring guide with a laylax one. Now select the spring (Laylax) that gets you to the fps you want. Finally I would recommend some new barrel spacers, as the ones that are in there are garbage. That should do it for the parts you need to shoot pretty hot and accurate. Now if you want to go farther, you can buy damper kits for the Piston and Cylinder heads, Suppressor adapters (and suppressors), outer barrels, and receivers.
I believe they have a good selection of type 96 parts. Just search TYPE 96
