Out of the box, accuracy sucks. It needs a new barrel (the stock one has an inner diameter of 6.10mm; I replaced mine with a 6.03mm barrel), hop up bucking, and some go so far as to make their own hop up nubs for it. The new bucking and barrel are usually followed by drilling and tapping the magazine to take an external CO2 rig, thereby bringing shot-to-shot consistency way up (stock, it runs off of unregulated green gas/propane, which is wildly inconsistent because the temperature fluctuates wildly because the propane is stored as a liquid under pressure inside the magazine, and as the gas that has already evaporated is used up, the liquid pulls heat from the metal body of the magazine...Basically, this means that your first shot could be 650 fps, and your second (follow up) shot could end up 400 fps). Adding the CO2 rig will also allow you to use your gun in the dead of winter (people have tested their rigs in sub-32degF temperatures before with great success).
Yes, I do own this gun, and yes, I have done everything mentioned here. I've even installed a G&G striker spring for even more added consistency. All in all, this rifle's not for people who don't like/want to tinker with their gun (really, all sniper rifles are this way; this one's just more so than others). Expect it to have its quirks.
