I know I have distanced myself from Airsoft over the last couple of months, but this new ECHO 1 M28 is seriously tugging at my heart strings. It also seems to be getting pretty good reviews this early in the game...

I may be completely outta the ball park here but it looks exactly like a classic army m24 just uhh less expensive.So if the internals are alike then I would get it because my classic army is amazing (by my standards)

Any chance of starting a thread so we can be updated with information as you use it? Being that it's an Echo 1, I'm skeptical but I'd like to see how well it stands because I may drop the money to get one eventually...

Found a confirmed (not personally) negative about the M28; it seems that Echo 1 may have missed the boat when designing or redesigning the magazine for this rifle. Two M28 owners on the Airsoft Forum claim the magazines are cheap, and may have issues feeding. Read here:

The only other negative noted at this time, is the rifle is heavy due to the build of the materials. I like weighty rifles, so weight is not always an issue.
