Creating a Ghillie Suit

I have a airsoft ghillie suit but it attracts everything and is hot, ive been looking into creating my own ghillie, but i wanted to know if anyone knows of any good youtube videos or advice, i dont want to break the bank with this project

There's yet another option for ghillies that helps mitigate the heat issue - half-suits. Instead of covering your entire body, the suit covers from the waist up.

I'm not a fan of ghillies in any way, shape or form (I can blend better with my multicams than you'd think possible given my home field), but I won't hold back options that would help someone else who does like them.

You are going to be hot in a guilly. If you want to make on not so hot get some time (about 12 hours). Cut the back out and replace it with a cloth mesh. Then get some nylon string and sow three inch squares on the back. Then tie brown burlap and green yarn on to it.

I know this thread is a little old, but Academy Sports sells some Ghillie-like hunting synthetic leaf mesh that you pull over clothing. Its not perfect, but it does a good job of killing the edges of a sillouhette. Its also very light. You could take any OD or other appropriate color clothing, and just wear it over the OD.
