I'd just like to nitpick here.
A low cap is usually 1-2x real steel mag capacity (28-50 rounds)
A midcap is usually 3-5x real steel mag capacity (100-150 rounds)
Tokyo Marui STD mags are lowcaps. Star/MAG/G&P are midcaps.
It really depends on the user's desire to balance between quality and price. If it feeds as well as a TM or CA but looks like ass but cost less, buy it. If it won't feed and will get you taken out, don't. A lot of people have good results out of Star brand m16 midcaps. The Star G36 mids are complete and utter crap and as such while you could buy 2-4 per TM lowcap, you're better off with the TM in my opinion since with the star you have no guarentee that you'll feed any rounds at all. If I put a 50 round TM mag in, I know I'm gonna get 46-48 shots out of it without any problems.
Personally: I'd rather have 1 mag I know will feed than 4 that might feed.
