Delta Force Woodland

I am designing (technically) a woodland variation of the gear worn by Delta Operators in the movie Blackhawk Down. The gear consists of :

1.Protec skateboard helmet-Black (You can buy a replica from a # of sites.
2. OD chest rig.
3.Black kneepads.
4.Black half-finger gloves
5.Black right leg holster.
6.Combat Boots.
7.Camoflauge uniform (BDU, ACU doesnt matter) (Color in MARPAT, old school woodland or even tiger stripe.)
*Optionals
1.Goggles (I really dont care for them, though thats what they gave in the movie.)
2.Black body armor (Goes under the chest rig. Kinda just for looks.)
3.Elbow pads (Im not a fan of these either.)

Yeah I know what you mean about the gear but I was just telling people if they wanted to look like the delta operators from BH Down just with woodland colors instead of the old desert pattern. I get what your saying about the functionality though.I was just adding different color uniform to the BH Down Delta.

I'm not making a guide to make a realistic delta force loadout. Its just how to make the loadout that they have in the movie with woodland camo. Not going for upmost functionality, just recreating.

You know, I didnt want to post anything on this topic, but after reading all this, I just had to.

While at Ft. Lewis, I was in the S2 Shop for the 66th TAC. We handled 6 active duty Army units: The 2/6th Cav, 168 Aviation (Attack), 160th SOAR, 1st SFG (Airborne), and two other units in Japan.
Now the reason for this post is to advise you, the ORIGINAL POSTER, that Delta has no set uniform. What you saw in the movies is raw and basic of what the Delta Operators actually use. The members of the 1st SFG are a proud breed, with the Green Berret and Yellow/Black flash...However, we also have seen (and worked with) some Delta fellows and they are proud of their abillity to BLEND IN.

So, to counter your WOODLAND DELTA loadout......any mix and match will do. Throw in some civilian clothing to make it more "REALISTIC", grow some facial hair and so forth. And remember what Delta's mission really is.......COUNTER TERRORISM.
