Whats your favorite vest and why?

this is the chest rig that I went with, not a whole lot of molle space to work with but it has served me well, that and the price tag can't be beat, especially for poor college students like me.

My fave...The CIRAS, tons of room for all my mags, pouches, and I have enough room on the back for a 24oz co2 bottle for my classic guns. I can hold 10 m4 mags, radio, admin, water bladder, 2 speedloaders, gadget pouch and I still can fit more.

Love my ranger green CIRAS, until I think about the HK45C I could've had for what I put into it....

gotta agree with xandman, i have the tan version and so far it's my favorite vest yet. once i get the final pouch i ordered ill put pics up

I had a tan Phantom CIRAS once; it didn't fit right, but it was the best vest I've ever used, and if I had the money, I'd go right now and get one that fits right and build my planned second vest (I'm trying desperately to lighten my load when I play assault, so I'm splitting my M4 pouches off to a new vest since they're the heaviest parts of my gear (gotta love WE M4 mags)).

ive tried a ciras on, it was nice, but i never really wanted one, i prefer my pantac wasatch or my replica crye gen 1 armor chassis. But my only complaint about either, is with all the pouches i have, im running very thin on real estate after i just fit all my mags on it.

My favorite has to be my TT 2-piece MAV. Someone at Bad Karma let me try theirs on and I instantly fell in love. It seems kinda heavy, but once it's on you can barely tell it's there and it is pretty open, so it ventilates very well. Can carry whatever I need in it.

What you can't really see see is a Molle Hydration backpack and a gadget pouch.

Gonna try and make a low-drag sniper rig with a Condor H-Harness, Battle belt, and Rigger's belt. Hopefully it works out well.

and hang an ALICE belt with a standard issue belt pad below it. gives me a great platform for anything i want to carry.

i'm too damn tall and lanky for one of those chest-rig type plate carriers. plus i like wearing everything down low so i can keep my arms in tight while shooting.

I have tried a lot of different vest and chest rigs. My personal favorite is the Eagle/SKD chest rig. I have added a radio pouch and a silencer pouch to it. With this light weight set up I can run 9 AR mags, 4 pistol mags, and commo. It is more than enough for most applications.

love it! only grip is that when you put all 3 mags in on both sides the right side flap is pulled away from the velcro due to tension on the molle gear, so double stich it to keep it from breaking i saw some one with one just like mine that was.
