9.6v Battery with a 8.4v Charger?

I have a 9.6v battery and only an 8.4v charger. Will this afftect the performance of my battery? What can I do, if anything, to counteract any negative effects caused by this?

I wasn't aware that chargers had a specific voltage.
In fact, I believe that is not the case. I think your charger will be fine. You just have to do some math if it's not a smart charger (in which case, get a smart charger, they're called smart chargers because the people who have them are smart)

Okay, just making sure! And I will definitley look into a smart charger. Having to keep an eye on it gets pretty annoying.
