what hop up / kit ..should i buy for my m4 stag echo 1?

piston is missing teeth. has metal gears probably not sure new bucking, smoothbore barrel.not sure bout motor stock or not. want to replace piston and possibly all plastic inside gun. want a super fast gun for a echo. dont want to go totally extreme but want to upgrade enough that when its LIPOLY time ...no more mods are nec. thanks R.JAMES Millersville Fire Dept.. just hope im able to get it all back together..lol First gun.

Well I am still wanting to know what kind of rof you are wanting because the setup I mentioned is not going to really boost your rate of fire much. You would have to do much more depending on whether you want 20 rps or 30+rps. If you are only going to 20 you can run stock gears and a high speed motor preferably this one http://airsoft-club.com/shop/internal-u ... -long-type and you will also need to look up how to fix AOE. If you decide to go up to 30 you are going to want that same setup plus the mosfet and a high quality lipo http://www.hobbypartz.com/30c3s.html that would be a good place to start you need to start thinking of amperage and not voltage what you do it take lets say a 2650mah 30c lipo then take 2650x30=79500/1000=79.5 continuous amps that would be a great battery depending on your desired rof. You should also start looking around on forums.airsoftmechanics.com this will be a much better help than this site and once you start learning more about speed builds you will have no problem doing it yourself.

AWESOME THANKS NOT SURE STILL 20 SHOULD BE OK FOR MY FIRST GUN REALLY WAS THINKING ABOUT PUTTING A WHOLE NEW UPGRADE KIT GEARS INCLUDED BUT IF IN GONNA NEED A MOTOR IF MINE IS SHOT THAT $50 MORE WANTED TO HAVE A LOT FASTER THAN STOCK GUN 20+ BPS BUT STAY IN ABOUT $150-$175 range want to build an decient gun that quick and when i get ready for a lipo. all i have to do is hook it up and go but my price range might not allow that.any ideas, just dont want a break happy gun either you think high speed motor new (plastic teeth or metal teeth piston) and lipo with stock gears would that work. ?or should i say what would that give me???

Well with an element high speed motor stock gears and polycarb piston do not get a full metal tooth piston it would be too heavy you should be getting around 20 to 25 with a 9.6 volt. That would only cost you around 30 dollars plus shipping so what I would do if you had that much money is get a mosfet and then save the rest of your money just in case something breaks or if you decide to get a lipo.

so just run stock gears, buy the mosfet, fast motor(??whats a good-un) plastic tooth piston and lipoly batt.!!! should that set up work?

Just make sure you have a great shim job and get solid metal bushings and not bearings Here is a list of all the things you should get

This setup will give you a really good rate of fire also im not sure what you have in your gun but you might want to get a new piston head too if yours is metal

You do not even need to get the lipo in this case it would probably also put you over your budget but this would definately be lipo ready and even with a 9.6v you would have a very good rate of fire you should probably look up alot of guides on how to shim the gears if you have never done this before and if you are not very good at soldering you can send your gearbox into the company that sells the mosfets and they will put it on for you. You also might want to run a m110 if you are going to a lipo just to avoid premature engagement
