Homemade Kydex Holster

Made a homemade Kydex holster for my S&W 9mm

Materials used: http://www.knifekits.com/vcom/product_i ... cts_id=275

Finished results: (just heated it, formed it with hands and towels, cut, and rivet)














Holds really tight and secure, but doesn't seem to scratch and for 17.00 I think I got a sweet little holster

that's pretty neat, it doesn't look too dissimilar from a lot of store-bought CCW holsters.

does it hold pretty firm around the trigger guard? part of the appeal of those holsters is that through some kind of elf magic (i think), you are able to draw the pistol somewhat easily from your belt but no one else is likely to be able to, and it's damn near impossible to pull it from a the holster when detached from your belt.

Ya it it holds real tight on the trigger guard. I tried to do it with the press like most the instructional videos but I just ended up hand forming it to get that tight hold.
