my batteries only last about 500rds (8.4 1500 large types)... is it the charger? my other 9.6 1600 minis last about 400rds...

What type of batteries are you using? Ni-Cd or Ni-Mh?

What kind of charger are you using?
What kind of batteries are you using? (Nicad or NiMH)
When you charge the batteries do you just unplug it after a while and go shoot or do you leave it on untill the battery gets warm?

If your using Ni-Mh battery, than the only thing I can think of is a motor that uses a lot of power, or maybe only some of the cells in the batteries are dead.
If it's a Ni-Cd then it could be its gained some memory from being charged incorrectly.
Xandman can probably answer better though.

i have two dPower smart chargers and the large type 8.4s are Ni-Cd, the 9.6s are Ni-Mh...
