Having trouble deciding on camo

I really can't afford multicam right now, but, i was just thinking about something.

Now, first, don't troll me, i'm fairly new to this sport.
I'm planning to play most around spring-summertime, mostly outside.
I thought maybe since i'll be in leafy green enviornments at this time of year, i thought about mixing up some OD and Black (OD BDUs, maybe black Plate Carrier)
What do you think?

I would just run a mix of CB and OD. Use OD as your base color and use CB for your pouches and what not. It will break up your profile some...

BK requires black tops on one of the teams if im not mistaken on uniform. but As far as good cheap camo. old school woodland always works. As mentioned before STAY AWAY from BLACK on your kit. it's horrid easy to spot. I mean a little here and there wont be a big deal but I wouldn't choose it as a primary color in any aspect. and if you need reasoning behind it, look at any one running around with a non-painted rifle vs. a painted or colored riffle... which one stands out more? For versatility on your gear, the solids are best and then staggering. This breaks up pattern and you're not as obvious. In addition you can also then wear it with any particular camo Unlike buying a multicam Vest trying to wear it with marpat. While this may work, Men at airsoft evens are like girls and you be mocked behind your back... Seriously I've heard it. Back on subject, I've been sitting no more than 10 feet from people in my marpat with a (green) H-harness, (tan) Battle-belt w/(green) pouches/mag holsters and they never saw me until I said something or laid fire into them. Though when going through kit selection the Tan for base and Green pouches I seem to like the best. But as long as you can be happy with your gear it's really all that matters

And about Multicam, since BK has to have 2 teams, one with black, and one with green, Multicam wouldn't even work there.

In almost every situation I've ever seen, Multicam has been placed on the Green team. The way I understand it is any shirt (camo or not) that has primarily green on the sleeves is placed on Green and anything primarily black or gray on the sleeves goes on Black. But as always, they do ask that you bring both in case of balancing teams.

If yu can't get multicam get marpat with a coyote tan plate carrier.

Don't get MarPat. All the teams I've played with using MarPat has been easiest to see and wasn't good because of the camo. My team uses woodland and A-Tacs. Best for any environment, no matter what.

Just look and get some "old" BDU pants and shirts. The reason I say old is because the military doesn't use the kind of design any more. Plus, I find it all the time at (don't make fun of me) Good will.
