Basic Operator's Coursehosted by:
The Gun DevilsBe there by 7:30am and ready to start at 8amOn Saturday January 8th, 2011 the
Gun Devils a National MilSim Airsoft Team will be hosting their annual Basic Operator's Course at Bad Karma Field! We will be starting the day early at 8am at the top of the hill, leaving the cars behind, and going until after dark.
The event is
FREE! Everyone 15 and up is invited to attend regardless of your skill level, if you are new to the sport, a veteran, interested in a big event, or just curious about Airsoft. Come out and attend our course with our team! We use this type of trianing date to prepare for the large National Events like Operation Irene, Pine Plains, Oklahoma Invasion, Operation BullDog, and more!
Who are the Gun Devils? We are an Airsoft team that is based around Nashville and have been a team since 2005. Right not we have about 25 active players, and each year we attend a few National Events in different parts of the country. We are known nationally as a solid team to play next to at the big events. When we aren't training for the big events like Irene we play locally at Bad Karma and other fields.
Our members range from guys who are new to the sport, airsoft veterans, military veterans, young & old, big and small. We are a diverse team but we enjoy playing the sport and teamwork.
What can you expect? Come out to the field with an open mind and just expect to learn something new and have fun! We are an open minded team and very objective. The Gun Devils have developed from the military different tactics that work very well in Airsoft during a National Event, and we'd like to pass them on to you! Some of the training will be live fire and some of it will be weapons safe because of distances, but you can expect to be challenged physically and mentally.
What do I need to bring? Pack your gear so that you can stay on the field all day! Please make sure that when you pack your gear you have food and water you can take with you onto the field. Since it's typically cold in January dress accordingly wearing gloves, and something to keep your head warm. Have all the batteries, green gas, and BBs you'd need for a day of Airsoft. Treat it like you'd be attending a large event, and plan ahead. OF COURSE, EYE PROTECTION and your AEG!
Feel free to wear whatever you are comfortable with Green Camo or Black but we highly recommend wearing boots and dressing for the temperature.
If you are up for the challenge...you can post here OR RSVP at our website at where you will find more information about the event. If you have any questions just post them up here or email
