Story Line:

On March 29th 2008, in their only attack in the Gage area, General Chris Bindrum authorized an attempt to take Breed’s Hill north of the city on the narrow pass of Tregaron. Led by newly arrived officers, the rebel forces made three different frontal assaults up the hill, mistakenly believed to be Tregaron’s hill. He could have easily cut off the Americans, who had occupied the hill only the night before, by closing the pass to their rear. Instead, they foolishly insisted on teaching what they thought were cowardly Americans the lesson of not tangling with the mighty rebel army. In the end, the rebels took the hill, but only after Americans ran out of ammunition. Bindrum’s strategy had led to a slaughter of rebel troops. Although outnumbered by nearly 2 to 1, American’s inflicted more than 1,000 causalities on the Rebels while suffering less than half that number themselves. Technically a Rebel victory, the battle of Tregaron’s hill was viewed as a moral victory for the Americans, who had faced the powerful enemy and inflicted much greater damage than they received.
Meanwhile, during the previous week, Americans under the command of Major Travis Fleming captured the Rebel military strongholds at Fort Ticonderoga and Crown Point at Newbury Grove. There they confiscated large numbers of SAM missiles, and ammunition. That same week the Americans began a two-pronged invasion of the City of Newbury Grove. In doing so, the Americans left the door open for Rebel reinforcements to move in behind them undetected. Fort Tregaron would soon suffer great losses, and lose key strategic ground. The ammo compound was soon overrun by the Rebels, which cut off the main supply route to the Americans. The American forces are now divided, and spread thin. Supply and reinforcements are a must. If the Rebel forces take their communications tower, the Americans would be at the mercy of God, with hopes of victory.

There are several primary and secondary objectives to win this war. You will need to coordinate with your CO and leaders in order to succeed. There are several battles on many different fronts. In actual war this is common, and all the missions are sometimes not in any order, but need to be completed to win. This is what we are going to do of Lights out.

Americans, you are cut off, spread thin with no resupply, or reinforcements. You MUST defend your communications station and JOC in order to keep in contact with HQ. If you should let these fall...You will have a much harder road to victory. The enemy has over run and taken control of the ammo compound, and cut off your only supply route. They massed precisely in reinforcements and have done so un noticed. Your main force is launching a two pronged invasion of Newbury Grove, and are unaware of the rebel movements to the rear. You must both attack and retake the ammo compound, and defend your ground as well. While doing so you must send word to HQ and await reinforcements.

JOC Your Primary objectives in this war are as follows:

1. Retake the ammo compound to re open your supply route.

2. Run a successful black op in order to gain classified documents and a series of communications codes.

There are secondary objectives for each primary. All objectives have been written over a period of two months. They are well planned and written. You will receive in depth details of the missions at the site.

HQ Your Primary objectives in this war are as follows:

1. Plan an invasion of the city of Newbury Grove.

2. Setup intelligence station and POW camp.

3. Direct supplies and reinforcements to your cut off units.

There are secondary objectives for each primary. All objectives have been written over a period of two months. They are well planned and written. You will receive in depth details of the missions at the site.

CO and Leaders. You will recieve your mission packets by snail mail. These packets will include maps, primary and secondary mission objectives, intel about the enemy, radio channels, pictures of key players, and VIP targets. There may also be some video intel included as well.

Rebel Forces:

You have taken the only route of supply from the Americans. You must maintain this stronghold! They are cut off from their main forces, but are still a threat. Take out their JOC, and Communications station asap and hold them to shorten your road to victory. If you destroy the Americans here, you can turn your attention to the rear flank of the enemy and catch them off guard.

Rebel Reinforcements Your Primary objectives in this war are as follows:

Maintain control of ammo compound and supply route.
Over run the American communications tower, and JOC
Setup POW and JOC

Rebel Forces Your Primary objectives in this war are as follows:

Defend the city of Newbury Grove.
Setup Intel station and establish contact with your other units
Search and Destroy mission. American POW, Intel, and HQ.
Kill American VIP

We will be having hotdogs and chips after the event on sunday. For those of you who are camping, you may bring a coleman camp stove to cook your food on if you would like. You may also bring your ice chests if you would like. There are to be no camp fires at anytime on the camp grounds. There might be one for everyone to gather around, but that is up to the owner. Basically.........you can bring what you would normally bring when camping. Tent, stove, lantern, blah blah....oh and if you want to bring the wife, or girlfriend thats okay too. I have had a lot of questions about that and if they would have to pay as well. If you are not going to play, then you do not have to pay for the women rooting for their other half.
