It didn't pass BUT if we aren't careful and something happens that De Leon can use to help the bill pass, They will reconsider the bill and we will have to go through this all over again.
It is currently under reconsideration for another hearing in the fall so it's not over until De Leon drops the bill.

Just a little update:
De Leon has changed the bill for the next hearing to where it will affect Californias 2nd Amendment rights as well as clearing the board of all Airsoft, Paintball, and BB guns, and Pellet gun replica's.
There is also something in the bill that will allow other law makers to alter gun laws (Effecting 2nd Amendment rights for California).
So in reality, This isn't just Airsoft anymore. It's messing with 2nd amendment rights...
What do you think about this bill?
Personally, If this will be messing with California's 2nd amendment rights, I think there will be a lot of Real Steel shooters protesting this bill which will add to the support to shut down the bill.

Not exactly true though. DeLeon has ONE last chance to play with the bill and try to send it through again, only catch, he has to wait a year before doing so...
