Well, it seems to me that the NCAO in North Carolina is doing a pretty good job of keeping airsoft on the level there.
Government, whether self instituted or forced upon you, is not inherently a bad thing. The ABUSES of government are what make government a problem.
Remember, at its ideological core, government is designed to SERVE and PROTECT the people it governs.
A state wide organization to regulate airsoft in Tennessee is, in my opinion, a great idea, IF it is implemented properly.
The NCAO is a decent organization to model a Tennessee based organization after. It isn't perfect, but nothing is.
The key to making a Tennessee organization work is the participation of the fields, the retailers, and the players. The players have to be active in the organization, and be willing to abide by the rules. It would obviously have to be a democratic system.
It could work, if people were willing to take a chance on it.
