Nice. They ever fix the issues with the hop up chamber having sharp edges (which in turn caused damaged BBs to hook left and right)? That and a few other issues caused me to hang up my first-gen SCAR (like the damned leaky magazines).

On a side note, damn. I wanted to sell you closed-bolt mags.

I was the one that bought Dannick's Escort MP5. It's schweet.

Recoil. It rules.

It's finished! Test fired it (a lot) when I got all the parts the other day. Threw a scope on top to see how it looked. Actual scope mount and a few other odds and ends (mostly external) are arriving in the mail later this week. I wanted to do a side-by-side with my G&P, but the hop up decided to do funky things on the latter, so in the process of fixing that, tiny springs pinged off to the corners of my work room. As soon as I have replacement parts, I'll be doing aside-by-side shot.

Image

WA M4-based SPR build. Recoil is still fun.

- AABB Troy receiver set, stripped to the bare metal and Duracoated
- Madbull DD Lite Rail (I actually wanted the MK18 rail, but this one works just fine), 9" and Duracoated
- most of the internals came from an AGM M4 I purchased in the For Sale section last year, and what isn't is either castoff from my G&P or new
- 5KU NPAS (it had a metal nozzle too, but that was causing erratic behavior, so it's the AGM nozzle for now)
- G&P hop up chamber
- AGM buffer tube and stock assembly (to be replaced at a later date)
- PRECISION locking block
- SHS firing pin
- KA MBSS XM177 silencer
- Element G27 grip

Prolly missed something.

Just recently sold this one (WE PDW Closed Bolt)
Image

Never got around to posting a picture when I first got this but now it's for sale because I need the money. Either way, here's my KJW KC02 (10/22).
Image

Also, I won a contest and received a custom etched 1911.

Got another photo after doing something a little different - I gave it a "target" barrel end. The AGM that donated most of its internals to the cause came with a Matrix multi-piece modular outer barrel, so I chopped the male threading off the end of the longest piece, smoothed it out, and am planning on polishing it. I may or may not end up having the end crowned at an 11 degree angle for looks. It's still fully compatible with the silencer I have up in the lat photo, as it's an easy matter to just swap them out.

Finally got my P226 into a metal slide and frame. Gave Guarder another chance on the frame, and was pleasantly surprised on how it turned out (much more solid now, though I can't say I was really disappointed on how it felt before). 'twas still a pain in the ass, but not nearly as bad this time around (that damned trigger bar spring had my number). It's finally as close as I'm willing to get to my real one (I don't have the budget nor the patience to find a Creation steel kit or have a steel slide manufactured for me).

Image

Image

Base: TM P226R

Upgrades:

Guarder metal slide (I got this in a combo slide/frame kit, but the frame was molded wrong and I chucked it because it was easier than trying to fix it)
Guarder Navy frame (only frame-only kit I could find; that it has no rails is icing on the cake in my opinion)
Shooters Design POM loading nozzle
ACTION 160% recoil spring
Nineball DYNA piston head
Nineball inner barrel
Nineball bucking
GunsModify tritium night sights (I was expecting DYTAC quality, but boy, was I pleasantly surprised! Better be, for 4x the price...Furthermore, I can't believe I actually got my hands on a set of these.)

To come:
steel hammer (probably polished)
heavier hammer spring
metal outer barrel (prolly either Guarder or Nineball)

By the way, Fluffy, that is one fine looking pistol.

Did some cleaning today; finally got a few shots I've been meaning to take for a while now.

The family: From top to bottom: WE SCAR, TM-based G36K frankengun, WA-based SPR, G&P WOCX M4A1, TM P90, ESCORT MP5A5. On top of the stocks is the tricked out P226 I snapped photos of above. (Okay, so it's most of the family - I didn't include the sniper rifles.)

Image

And a shot of the two WA rifles together. The SPR doesn't have a stainless barrel; I just polished one removable piece to make it look that way. I stuck that on there to protect the inner barrel during transport (I have to take the silencer off when I store it for travel or it doesn't fit in the Box o' Goodies), and kinda like it.
