Ok, here is what you don't do, anything listed above....
Does the current camera have a firewire jack? It might also be called i1394, use that to hook to your computer and import the video to something like Adobe or if all else fails the free windows movie maker... and go to town...
As far as a camera that will work for recording airsoft, anything with a firewire connection is just fine... although if you record any cqb or indoors stuff, get a sony brand with nightshot (sony's nightshot is the best)...
Don't use USB, or the analog inputs on your video card... those will both lower the quality of the video.
