Airsoft Gun Safety:
The following is a good rule of thumb for everywhere at Dead End Airsoft, but particularly in the staging / parking area!
The following is from NRA and tweaked for Dead End Airsoft
http://www.nrahq.org/education/guide.asp
1. Treat every weapon as if it were loaded.
2. ALWAYS keep the gun pointed in a safe direction.
3. NEVER point a weapon at anything you do not intend to shoot.
4. ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.
5. ALWAYS keep the gun unloaded until ready to use.
6. Know your target and what is beyond.
7. Know how to use the gun safely.
8. Be sure the gun is safe to operate.
9. Use only the correct ammunition for your gun.
a. Never use cheap Big Box Store 6mm BB’s
b. Stick to reputable brands such as ksc, kwa, matrix, javelin, etc…
10. Wear eye protection at all times on the field even after the game has ended.
11. Never use alcohol or over-the-counter, prescription or other drugs before or while shooting.
12. Store guns so they are not accessible to unauthorized persons.
