Rebel forces have a stranglehold on the Krussa pass trade route and, saturating the forests flanking the pass with anti-personnel mines and booby traps, while covering the open approaches with AT mines and tank traps covered by hastily erected fortifications bristling with RPGs and MMGs. This redoubt has allowed Commandante Tarjay's rebel forces to levy tolls on any trade in or out of the valley, and allowing foreign aid to funnel in to them.

The 2nd Bn Presidente's Guards are en route via Highway 1, which is currently held by Federal forces. They will storm the redoubt and overwhelm the company sized force stationed there. Preliminary bombardment has been denied to maintain the element of surprise.

2nd Bn Presidente's Guards contain many veterans of the 6th Motorized Bn which came into heavy contact with Tarjay's elite body guards during the Battle of Rock Ridge last September.

PHASE1:
BRIEFING FOR 2ND ASSAULT BATTALION (all players will be STORM TROOPS)

The STORM TROOPS muster at the Line of Departure.

When MARSHAL blows a long note on the whistle, THEN the STORM TROOPS can begin assaulting the redoubt, staying between the two lines marking the lateral (side) limits. This represents a HUGE force attacking a GIANT defensive position.

Any STORM TROOPS hit will NOT return to respawn as normal, but will simply lay down in place. Pulling a red rag to avoid sniper fire is encouraged, but REMAIN IN PLACE. Hamming it up with a dramatic death is not required, but encouraged.

When the MARSHAL blows the whistle in multiple blasts, it means CEASE FIRE. DEFENDERS freeze in place, and “DEAD” STORM TROOPS move to the LoD. SATCHEL CHARGES may be recovered, repacked, and carried to LoD.

When the MARSHAL blows a long note on the whistle, the next “wave” of STORM TROOPS attack as the GAME COMMENCES.
Rinse and repeat until the GREEN USMC flag flies over the redoubt, and ALL DEFENDERS are killed.

HOW TO KNOCK OUT A BUNKER
A: "Satchel charge" (provided) through the gun port.
B: A signifigant stream of water from a “flamethrower” (provided) through the gunport
C: bunker being outflanked and crew killed.

Bunker gunners are "immune" to BBs from the front/sides, but human nature means they can be suppressed.
