On 02FEB09 a CIA NOC stole highly classified launch codes and weaponized uranium from a hidden military installation in Iran. While transporting the package into USSOCOM hands in Japan, the CIA transport was shot down over the mountains of Afghanistan.

We believe that the NOC who is carrying the package survived the crash and is on the run. The Uranium is being picked up by thermal satalite images as being thrown far away from the actual crash site.

A teams from Delta Force are being sent in to recover the missing items and extract them from the hostile area. The SPECOPs team will run into heavy resistance during the operation period of this mission.

1.Situation

a. Threat – Insurgent OPFOR in designated operation area. Considered Threat Level 1

b. Weather – Average weather for the region of Operation is 65 degrees F.

c. Actual - CIA NOC has stolen weaponized uranium and launch codes from a military base in Iran. While in route to transfer package to USSOCOM command, their transport was shot down over the mountain in Afghanistan.

d. Most Likely – Insurgent OPFOR is being held in direct responsibility for the attack and will be in the Operating Area looking for the Uranium. They are believed to be radical forces that will do not believe in surrender or retreat and will fight to the last man.

2.Type of Operation: USSOCOM will conduct a Black OP VIP extract and Package Recovery in response to events that happened over Afghanistan airspace on 02FEB09.

3.Initial Time Line:

a. 1030 – HAHO jump and create LZ for extraction
b. 1100 – Search for INTEL that could have been left at the crash site.
c. 1300 – Chow
d. 1400 – Continue into the mountains of Afghanistan to search/extract NOC and package.
e. 1800 – EXFIL back to Safe Zone

4. Special Instructions

a. HAHO in and set up LZ
b. Recon crash site and surrounding areas for INTEL
c. Locate NOC and secure launch codes
d. Locate, secure, and extract lost Uranium (USE CAUTION)
e. Hump package back to LZ
f. Eliminate all OPFOR
g. EXFIL to Safe zone.
