BBE's Freedom Fight III (Shelby County, KY)

It’s almost that time of year again! September 10th, 2011! The third annual Freedom Fight!

For those of you who have not attended this event before, Freedom Fight is more or less a "Noob Day" where airsofters of all levels can enjoy shooting each other on BBE Headquarters: 450 acres full of dense woods, open fields, roads, forts, and an indoor CQB arena. A low event cost, no uniform requirements, and an age limit of 12 and up allows for less experienced players to have fun at a type of event that normally only airsoft veterans would attend.

For past participants, be prepared for entirely new additions to our event. Bigger forts, brand new roads, vehicles, and much more will add to what Freedom Fight has been in the past. Prepare for an even greater experience!

Last year we had 78 players from 4 states! This year we are expecting over 100 players!

On behalf of BBE, I would like to say thanks to everyone for coming out to play at Freedom Fight III. Was awesome to see so many experienced and less experienced players together in one place. Hope you all had a great time.

Numbers are in. We had a total of 119 guys playing in FF3!! Thats a new record breaker for this event. So, a very nice turn out with pretty even teams. Blue- 57 Red- 62. I know I saw some of the more intense firefights with some 40 v 40 going head-to-head. Blue seemed to unify nicely under AFA command while Red did their thing with FEAR/Spartan guys. Both did very well controlling their mobs.

Had a couple "problem" people... mostly the younger age group, but hey, Freedom Fight is about getting those younger guys some more experience... to try to guide them towards the more professional side of the airsoft community. We tried our best to keep those guys in check. Also, I know there was confusion with parking and some in-between game breaks that lasted much longer than I wanted(part of that due to an unexpected visit by the police lol). We will do our best to correct all these problems in our next events, including FF4 next September. If you had some problem or noticed something that could be corrected, as always just let me know. We're always trying to make our events better.
