This has all been copied from the original thread, I am not the host of this I just want to post it here so we can get as many people as possible. It is probably too short of notice for people here but maybe not.

The year is 2012. Inspired by the numerous recent revolutions across the Middle East and Northern Africa, thousands of citizens from the small African nation of Djibouti have left their homes to protest the reign of the nation's tyrannical dictator, IsmaĂŻl Omar Guelleh. As masses of angry rebels approach his bunker in the nation's capital, Guelleh begins offering huge cash payments for the services of Somali gunmen. The promise of wealth has stirred up swarms of Somali militiamen, who have begun marching for Djibouti.

Although the United States and its allies in the West support the rebellion, they cannot interfere directly by sending combat troops to Djibouti. Instead, small US military teams are sent to Somalia to intercept the approaching Somali armies. Will the US and its allies succeed to toppling another Islamic dictator? Or will Guelleh's Somali mercenaries crush the uprising?

Gear Requirements

US Forces
Uniform requirements: US MARPAT or Multicam
Other restrictions: None

We encourage US team members to look the part of an American infantryman as much as possible.

Somali Militia
Uniform reuirements: No 'digital' camouflage, including MARPAT and ACU. No Multicam. All other camouflage patterns and civillian clothing are permitted.
Other restrictions: NO sniper rifles or DMRs may be used. NO radios or walkie-talkies may be used. NO helmets or body armor may be used.

We highly encourage players to dress the part of disorganized Somali gunmen. Civillian clothing, mix-matched uniforms and foreign military camouflage are all accepted and encouraged. The Somali Militia team is designed to be disorganized and poorly equipped in comparison to those on the US Forces team, just like their real world counterparts.

EVENT RULES

ALL Players are required to turn in a Wavier before playing at the event

ALL players must wear full seal ANSI rated protection. (No Mesh, or Saftey glasses allowed.)

FPS Limits: All guns are chronoed with .20 gram bbs with a 5% leeway

Assault rifles and pistols: 420 fps
Support weapons: 450 fps
DMR weapons: 480 fps
Bolt-action weapons: 550 fps

Grenades: Any replica grenade kills any player instantly inside a bunker (a bunker being any 3 sided structure). Grenades that fire bbs like the Tornado kill instantly within a bunker, but must strike a player with a bb before they are killed outside a bunker.
RPGs/Rocket launchers: Rockets have a 15ft kill radius. Hits within a bunker will kill instantly.
Claymores/ Mines: Claymore AP mines must strike a player with a bb to kill. Mines that do not fire BBs kill when tripped.

Hit rules: One hit anywhere on the body counts as being hit (gun hits and ricochets do not count). Once you are hit, you must pull out your Death Rag. A player cannot talk except to call for a medic once hit.
Respawn/ Bleed out: Once hit, all players will sit in place for a 5 minute 'bleed-out' period, during which they cannot shoot their weapon or talk, except to call for a medic. After the bleed-out period, the player is completely dead and will have to walk back to a respawn point. A player can only respawn at a respawn point if it's under their team's control. This is signified by a colored flag in place at the respawn. Every respawn point on the field can be captured by either team. Respawn points are captured by knocking down the opposing team's flag and replacing it with your own.
Medic Rules: One medic will be fielded for every 6 players. A medic has to reach a player before they bleed out. A medic heals a player by wrapping a peice of masking tape around the player's arm. After this is done, the player may remove their death rag and come back into the game.
Body Armor Rule: Normal players can be revived by a medic ONCE. Subsequent hits will kill the player instantly, with no chance to be healed again until they respawn. If a player is wearing a helmet they receive one additional revive. If a player is wearing body armor they receive one additional revive. Thus, if player is wearing both a helmet and armor they can be revived by a medic a total of THREE times.
