SCENARIO DETAILS:

On March 21, 2008 at 2300 hours a US Navy P-3C Orion aircraft(Watchdog) carrying 11 crew wandered off course due to a computer navigation error. The aircraft wandered into North Korean airspace and at 2315 hours "Watchdog" detected a SAM launch. The aircraft encountered a direct hit even after chaff deployment and at 2319 hours the aircraft transmitted a distress signal and communicated that it was having to make an emergency landing. At 2325 hours we received our last communication from Watchdog, there was only one survivor among the eleven crew and they reported to be severely injured. Then at 2350 hours North Korean Military forces attacked Camp Casey on the northwestern border of South Korea. Camp Casey is base and home of the 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry and 2nd Battalion, 9th Infantry but the North Korean forces over run and captured the base leaving no known survivors. North Korea's Military has made only one communication with US Forces stating that the "invasion" the US started would not be tolerated and was considered a hostile act. Both US and South Korean forces will be called upon to resolve this “misunderstanding”.

Objectives:

U.S. Forces
- Re-take border station - 100 points
- Locate injured pilot and transport to base for further instructions - 100 points
- Recover flight data recorder - 100 points
- Special recon mission - 100/50 points
- Rendezvous with operative for new intel - 100 points
- Capture opposing forces outpost - 100 points

North Korean Military
- Hold border station - 100 points
- Locate injured pilot and transport to base for interogation - 100 points
- Recover flight data recorder - 100 points
- Special recon mission - 100/50 points
- Rendezvous with operative for new intel - 100 points
- Capture opposing forces outpost - 100 points

GAME RULES:

Teams:

(US/Coalition) - Desert, Multicam, Black and Civilian Clothing
(N. Korean) - Green Patterns

FPS / Minimum Engagement:

Airsoft guns must measure BELOW the following velocity limits:

* 1.48 Joules for fully automatic guns (AEGs, etc...)
This equates to the following specs:
400 fps with 0.20g bb´s

* 3.0 Joules for non-full-auto guns (snipers, etc...)
This equates to the following specs:
570 fps with 0.20g bb´s

- If your gun shoots under 340fps with a 0.20g bb then you have no minimum engagement limit and can fire full-auto.

- If your gun shoots over 340fps but under 400fps with a 0.20g bb then you have a 20ft minimum engagement limit and can fire full-auto.

- If your gun shoots over 400fps but under 450fps with a 0.20g bb then you have a 50ft minimum engagement limit and can only fire semi-auto.

- If your gun shoots over 450fps but under 500fps with a 0.20g bb then you have a 75ft minimum engagement limit and can only fire semi-auto.

- If your gun shoots over 500fps but under 570fps with a 0.20g bb then you have a 100ft minimum engagement limit and can only fire semi-auto.

Eliminations:

A player struck anywhere on their person, including any equipment they are carrying on them such as: web gear, canteens, ammo pouches, hat, etc. is considered a hit and eliminated from the current game.

Gun hits and BBs that ricochet off nearby objects do not count as eliminations. If a BB hits a small twig in front of you and is deflected only a few millimeters and still hits you it is not considered a ricochet and you are eliminated. Please use good judgment.

Call "OUT or HIT" when hit, you are eliminated, wave your hand or gun to let your opponent(s) know that you have been eliminated. Once eliminated place your "dead rag" on top of your head and make your way back to the staging area or designated re-spawn zone.

Do not talk to teammates or opponents on your way off the field (dead men don´t talk). It is a good idea to keep a hand up to signal that you are eliminated and call "OUT or HIT" before you walk around a blind spot that an ambush could be coming from.

Anytime you feel you have "the element of suprise" on an unsuspecting player at close range and you believe it in their best interest and safety to give up, you can ask them to "Surrender" instead of just shooting them point blank. If your opponent accepts this surrender, that player is eliminated and counts as a kill. Howwever, if this player decides not to give up then you are clear to engage them.

If you believe you have hit another player and they have not called themselves out, you may call that player and yourself out. You and the other player are eliminated. This helps to keep players honorable.

Medic Rules:

Everyone is a Medic and will be issued a "medkit".
Each player gets two heals (3 lives).

On the 1st elimination, the eliminated player must take the ear plugs from his "medkit" and insert the plugs in their ears (all earbuds must be removed), the live player must place both hands on the eliminated player for 30 seconds, the eliminated player is considered healed and can re-enter the game, but must wear the earplugs. If the eliminated player is wearing a face mask that covers the ears, rather than remove their face mask to insert ear plugs, they will follow the directions for the 2nd elimination.

On the 2nd elimination, the eliminated player must remove the "bandage" from their medkit and the live player must apply the "bandage" on the eliminated players weak hand (right handed= bandage left hand or vice versa), the live player must place both hands on the eliminated player for 30 seconds, the eliminated player is considered healed and can re-enter the game, but must wear the earplugs and bandage.

On the 3rd elimination, the eliminated player must return to the re-spawn area and can remove the ear plugs and bandage and place them back in their medkit for use again.

Dead players cannot talk or move, aside from calling for help.
If a player is not healed within 10 minutes they must return to their respawn.
Respawn points will be located on the game field.

EYE PROTECTION:

Shooting Glasses are the minimum eye protection required.
Eye Protection must be ANSI Z87.1 or better rated and be able to withstand a direct hit (1") from a .20g BB at 400fps.
Keep your eye protection on regardless of the game being over until all players are accounted for and all guns are made safe.
Full face protection is highly recomended this includes wiremesh face masks and paintball masks.
Eye protection determined to be unsafe will not be allowed to be used.

GUN SAFTEY:

Keep your gun pointed in a safe direction while in the staging area.
