FORUM RULES - PLEASE READ!

It has recently come to our attention that there is a very large number of airsoft enthusiasts in the Tennessee area that choose not to be active members of our forum solely because of childish, immature posts, personal attacks, meaningless posts intended to inflate post count, and other miscellaneous inappropriate banter. This is going to stop.

We have always tried to be very lenient in terms of enforcing forum rules, as we do not want to reputation of some sort of power-tripping nazi forum, but the time has come where quality is much more important than quantity. We have let a lot of things go in order to keep a large user base, but going forward, we will be enforcing the rules as they are laid out, adhering to the well known "3 Strikes" mentality.

1st Offense: PM/E-mail from an administrator describing the offense and warning of future consequences if rules are not followed.

2nd Offense: E-mail from administrator detailing the new offense as well as a reminder of the first offense, plus a 7 day account ban.

3rd Offense: E-mail from administrator detailing all three offenses, plus permanent account/IP ban. Game over.

The idea in revitalizing this forum was always to be a place where we could all toss around ideas, discuss past/future games, and simply promote the sport as a whole. If losing a handful of users is what it takes to achieve that goal, than so be it. If for some reason you are incapable of following the forum rules and you end up banned, please do not think that it will carry over onto the field. What goes on here stays here as far as we are concerned, and we can skirmish together all day long and be great teammates on the field. No hard feelings.

In addition to the Terms (copy below) that all users must agree to during registration, there are some additional posting rules will be enforced within these forums. Thanks for your cooperation with adhering to these rules and for your continued support of the forums and the Tennessee Airsoft Community!

Forum Rules

1. While we encourage lively debate, we will not tolerate personal attacks.

2. Respect the designated topic areas when posting. Postings that do not relate to the topic area will have the threads moved, closed, or deleted.

3. Explicit permission of the owners of the forum is required before any links or advertisements are posted with the sole or main purpose of promoting a business or otherwise competing Web site.

4. The inclusion of pictures within messages is allowed on this site. Referring to images on other sites should be done so sparingly if at all. Copyrighted images are not to be included on our site without the express written permission of the owner of the copyrighted image(s).

5. Frequent or repeated postings promoting inflated post counts while contributing no added value to the forums are not allowed. Such postings will be deleted.

6. Keep your signatures and avatars reasonable in size. Signature images over 125 pixels high, or the equivalent height of image(s) and text combined are subject to deletion. Avatar images over 100 x 100 pixels are subject to deletion.

7. Moderators of this forum are not to be argued with when enforcing forum rules and guidelines. If you have issues or suggestions, then email or private message the Moderator or Forum Admin. If you have a complaint against one of the Moderators or the Forum Admin handle this in private email, not in the forum.

8. Members, which do not comply with the Registration Agreement Terms or Forum Rules, are subject to being temporarily or permanently banned from the site. This will be handled on a case per case basis as the Moderator and/or Forum Admin becomes aware of the non-compliance. We reserve the right to delete postings or memberships for any reason with or without prior warning.

9. Do not start topics that will end up with members flaming members. Such topics are not allowed and will be removed. If said thread is made again by the same person, a strike will be issued.

10. If an admin tells you to do something, do it. Flaming an admin is immediate grounds for a ban.


These rules are subject to change at any time. Members are responsible for periodically reviewing these rules to ensure compliance. If you have any questions or comments concerning any particular rule(s), email the Moderator or Forum Admin.


Registration Agreement Terms

While the administrators and moderators of this forum will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every message. Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators, moderators or webmaster (except for posts by these people) and hence will not be held liable.

You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned (and your service provider being informed). The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that the webmaster, administrator and moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered above being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent the webmaster, administrator and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.

These cookies do not contain any of the information you have entered above; they serve only to improve your viewing pleasure. The e-mail address is used only for confirming your registration details and password (and for sending new passwords should you forget your current one).
