I think the point being made here is there are some people that will not play at a field that does not have an FPS limit. By leaving that one small area open, you create a ton of problems.
My cousin was shot in his right cheek bone by a 550fps rifle at 100+ ft and it blacked the whole side of his face. He didn't cry, but it sure did leave a lasting mark. True Story...
When weapons exceed the 550fps mark, things can and will get dangerous and quick! I agree that they need to set some limits.. and on a 180x180' area, my suggestion is around 420 with .25s. That is enough to get the point across and know you have been hit.
