CO2 cartridges

Hi i'm new to airsoft and i want to know how to put the co2 cartridge into a kjw 1911 blowback pistol.I've never dealt with gas pistols or any airsoft gun that runs on gas so i really need help. also is it alright to leave the cartridge in the gun or do you have to throw it away after each use?

it depend on which gun u use but most of the time u put it in the botom of the handle [pistole] and no u can keep the cartridge in
g36-c
and a s.a.w machine gun
