A very simple (and cheap) airsoft game for the spring/summer season, guaranteed loads of fun!
Props / Materials: Pool "Fun-Noodles" - various (bright) colors ($1 each at Dollar Tree or any similar $1 store), Black Permanent Marker.
Assign "point" values to colored fun-noodles, making sure that there is an even number of points; mark each appropriately with Black Marker. Place in a random scattered pile in the middle of play field/area.
Start both teams at "bases" on either end of play area.
Objective: retrieve as many "noodles" as possible and return to respective base within a predetermined time limit. Winning team is based on total sum of collected points at each base at end of game.
Catch: If a player is "hit" while in transit, noodle must be dropped in place. Also, the opposing team's collection of retrieved noodles in-base is FAIR GAME.
Basically, retrieve and defend as many points as possible within the time limit.
Being long and extremely brightly colored, transporting the "point-noodles" won't be easy, even in a woodland environment.

We ran this last week at Sweetwater, and guys seemed to really like it. Despite the fact that I didn't spread the noodles around enough, which meant that the distribution ended up favoring one team. Live and learn.

I think the most fun part was the "hole up in the town and defend the noodles from the constantly re-spawning opfor for 30 minutes" part. Trigger time x1000.
