First off, I'm designing the game around PPN. This could be done anywhere, but the people from the Tri will better understand the game.
United States intel has learned that a local terrorist leader has taken over a small village in Russia and is hiding an arms depot somewhere inside for Iraq terrorist leaders. He has also secured a small satellite installition to track US troops, a local barracks on a hill above that, and finally a fortified bunker just to the side of the city.
The US wants this threat of weapons eliminated. They are sending in their best men under the cover of darkness. They must start in a thick forest just outside the city to stay undetected. They must divide into teams to take out all four objectives.
The Russian is expecting a covert op. of some sort from the US. His men are on high alert. He starts with five men in each of the three smaller objectives, but can reinforce them as needed later in the game. He must leave a force of 20 inside the main city at all times.
US forces must work their way through all four objectives. The outposts and city will be lit with torches and various lighs. Once inside the city they must find the weapons depot and destroy it. Should they take an outpost (bunker, satellite implacement, barracks) all the light in the area are cut off. Should the Russian forces recapture an area, they may be relight to show it is under Russian control.
Medic
Medic will be the primary source of respawn. One medic for every 10 people. You have a five minute bleed-out time. Should your time run out or a medic could in no way get to you move all the way back to the point where you started. Medic must me clearly marked with an armband. He can bring you back twice the third time you go back to respawn.
CO
Each team will have a CO. He must be protected by three bodyguards. He will be giving updates and squad commands throughout the game. Should the CO get hit, you will lose all update information until he is revived.
Supplies
Russian forces will have numerous supplies. At the start oif the game the Russian forces will take all of their gear, ammo, tools, food ets. in the city with them.
US forces can only take what they can carry with them. Should they capture the fortified bunker on the city limits, the can use this as a forward command post and resupply point. Once captured, the CO can radio for a supply drop every so often. (time frame to be determined)
Sniper Teams
Each team will have two sniper teams of a sniper and spotter. The sniper must be bolt action or semi-auto only. The spotter must have a full-auto gun.
Squad Formations
This game would be ideal for small squads with multiple objectives. It is up to the CO to make squads and designate their jobs.
Death
Everyone will need a glowstick or flashlighjt of some kind to show they are dead.
**This is an overnight game**
This would be an ideal game from dusk until dawn. This means sleeping when possible as well as eating.
Winning
For the US forces to win they must take 3 of 4 major objectives as well as destroy the weapon depot. (This will most lilkly be small cratesthat could be burned or destroyed in some form)
Russia has one purpose...defend. If they can defend against the attack until morning they win.
Game Cost
I think a price for the game should be set at $25 if we can pull it off. 15 for the field fee and 10 to buy torches to light everything up.
Uniforms
Russian Forces. Desert camos and multicam
US Forces. Woodland camos and black.
I know the colors don't really fit the countries, but the US Forces need an advantage of some sort.
