Military experiements blah blah blah
Something goes wrong blah blah blah
People are trapped inside, some want out, some want profit blah blah blah
Military is called in to clean it all up blah blah blah
Scientists and Civillians that work for them:
Street clothes, lab coats and the like. 1 active pistol/mag per 3 people
Civies are just that...Civilians, they can run/walk/crawl/jump etc as normal, but seeing as how their civilians, and were at work when the outbreak happened, they aren't packing, hence the 1:3 ratio...There were emergency weapons, but not a full out armory.
The Civilians are trying to escape the lab.
Their will be a few scientists who may form a rogue faction within the civies to try and steal the data on the zombies for themselves, if this happens, they do NOT want the military there and may turn hostile at any time.
The other Civilian / Scientists just want to escape alive. Their entire scenario revolves around simply that, surviving. They must stay alive on the field untill, at certain intervals later in the game they are given the chance to escape or to turn themselves in to the military
Military unit called in to investigate and clean the place out:
Camo BDU's, 1 AEG with ~300 rounds (1 highcap or 2-3 mids or 4-5 lows)
Can run/walk/crawl/jump etc as normal
Military knows biological experiments were happening at the facility and think the most likely scenario was some type of outbreak killed most of the people inside. Their mission is to come in and clean up the mess, lock down the facility and recover any data / personell that may be alive. This isn't a OMG IT'S ZOMBIES mission, so their not carrying an entire platoons worth of ammo with them.
The Military is to pickup the data, "clean" the area (set off a bomb), and rescue / arrest any remaining civilians inside.
Military must complete all missions before moving to the extraction point at which time they must hold the area for 30 minutes before they are extracted. Their C.O. is a bastard back at headquarters, and if they try to extract with any mission imcomplete (dead civillians=complete btw) then the chopper never comes.
Zombies: The slow type, cause their the coolest IMO
Starting Zombies in black BDUS, each have a pistol with 1 Mag.
New Zombies will have armbands that will be used, upon becoming a zombie
Zombies walk or crawl only, no running, no jumping, no climbing ontop of things. The Zombies are resilliant and can take three hits before they are declared dead and have to respawn (IMO 3 hits would be 3 seperate bursts upon the zombie, this is to prevent someone from just going full auto and getting all three hits in 1/2 a second). Zombies can only reload at a respawn point, if they run out of ammo before the run out of un-lives then their tough luck
The Zombies just want brains. They are trying to kill everyone and everything
This gives you three / four factions at work here.
Side Notes:
Zombies get a pistol with one mag, and can only walk simply because some people are touchy about physical contact, and in the heat of battle things can get messy. Oh and I like old school slow zombies.
As some people are skittish about letting other people finger their weapons. All Civillians carry a pistol, unloaded. If a Civillian that was armed dies, then the group will select the next person to become armed, and they will load their weapon.
Everyone needs a watch:
When a civillian / military person is "bitten" they lay / sit on the ground for a count of 60 seconds, they may then respawn and rejoin (or atleast try to) their team as a wounded person. However if they are "bitten" again, or after 10 minutes, whichever arrives first. They will turn into zombies themselves, and must place their arm bands on
In short
Zombies have infinate respawns, and infinate reloads at every respawn, but they can only walk towards their victims, their end goal is to kill everyone, Zombies can shoot anyone Human
Civillians / Scientists have 1 pistol (or shotgun) per 3 people, no reloads, can move like normal humans, and their end goal is to stay alive, Civillians can shoot anyone zombie / military
Military have 1 aeg with ~300 rounds, No reloads, ammo may be shared between living members / scavegned off dead military personell. Their end goal is to recover the data, find out what went wrong, then rescue / arrest the civillians, and extract. Military may only fire upon the zombies unless the civillians turn hostile to them.
Scoring:
Zombies win if they eat everyone
Humans win if they escape without military aid
Military wins if they manage to complete all objectives and extract with all living humans
I'd figure a ratio of about 6 Civillians : 3 Military : 1 Zombies. (50 people is a 30/15/5 spread.)
