The President, National Security Advisor and National Intelligence Director all concur that the US needs to send in a team to destroy any WMD technology or live weapons.
The two warring factions are BOTH hostile to the US, so don't expect any help. Your CIA asset slipped out of the country, so he won't be there either. All you have to go on is an old map that may be out of date, drawn by the asset and left for the Chief of Station at a dead drop.
Props: One OD green or black painted large canister to represent a prototype WMD.
The WMD recovery group may wear the uniform of any military they choose. One of the two sides in the war should wear a regular uniform, the other can wear whatever they like as the rebels (as long as it ISN'T the full uniform of the other team).
Senior leaders of the former regime were all killed early on, and the research on the WMDs was secret, so neitherwarring side knows the location of the WMD (unless they stumble across it).
Remember, BOTH sides are hostile to the WMD recovery team, so the recovery team will enter the field first (half an hour or so before the arrival of the warring factions) and conceal themselves. They cannot begin their search until the first sounds of battle between the two sides.
Good luck. It is possible that the future depends on your recovery of these weapons. You may not render assistance to either side in the war but you may defend yourselves as necessary to assure the success of the mission. The game is over when you retrieve and secure the WMD and get it out of the country, OR when you destroy it. The kicker...you don't know what KIND of WMD it is
If it's a nuke, you can destroy it in place. If it's a bio/chem, you have to transport it because blowing it up means contamination of an unknown type. (You REALLY didn't think I was gonna letcha off easy did ya?) Green for nuke, black for bio/chem.
