This one is again for Highpoint, but it will work with any field having a village and some land.
Recon One has been sent into a facility near the Chinese/Uzbek border to get a Russian scientist. (R1 has the scientist in custody at the beginning.)
When the start whistle blows, R1 must move the scientist along a path which only THEY know (they will get the map at the beginning of the game) and across the "Uzbek border" into town.
The second whistle however is the alarm bell, which will send the Chinese military after R1. The Uzbek border doesn't mean a whole lot to the Chinese, if they are in pursuit, they will not break it.
The town is Uzbek territory, owned by the Uzbek militia. They are not pro-Chinese, but they ain't so hot on Americans either, being Islamic. R1's leader has been given a large amount of money for bakshish (Arabic for a bribe). R1 must strike a deal with the leader of the militia for their protection. R1 must get the scientist across the checkpoint at the top of the hill safely. The checkpoint is the Russian border and safety.
I volunteer to head the Uzbek militia.
Uniforms: Chinese in woodland (close to PRC combat uniform)
R1 in their usual
Uzbek militia in mixed unis, civilian pants, military top
Respawns go to checkpoint to be Russian border guards (put red rag on the arm to symbolize Russians.
Once R1 gets into town, they can go to the embassy (militia HQ) to find me. Uzbek militia may not fire on R1 immediately, they are strangers and subject to the Islamic law of hospitality.
The Chinese may fire on anyone, but the militia will defend itself and anyone in the village while bakshish is negotiated. The militia leader and R1 leader will negotiate the amount of the bribe. If no agreement is reached, the militia leader can demand R1 leave, or demand R1 leave a hostage in return for protection.
The Russians (respawns) can be called by the Uzbek militia for assistance.
Game ends under the following conditions:
1. The Chinese get the Russian scientist
2. R1 gets the scientist back into Russia
3. The Uzbek militia is killed off before the Russians can get involved (no protection for R1)
