This scenario was developed by the team I used to be on back in RI. We tried it once and it worked out pretty well, it just takes a bit of pre planning and taking care to fully explain the rules so everybody is on the same page.

TEAMS:

Roughly a 4-1 ratio. The small team are the paratroopers. The large team are the Opfor.

Equal dispersion of weapons, dont try to arbitrate who can carry what or designate anything...it will complicate and hinder the game.

LAYOUT:
Opfor will have a pre-determined number of duffel bags, ammo boxes, some sort of easily distinguished object. These are evenly dispersed throughout the field at locations ROUGHLY known to the paratrooper team. These are guarded by token forces of the Opfor team about the strength of the paratrooper team. These bags have to be captured by the paratroopers and brought to the RP (rally point) within a pre-determined time limit to win the game.

STARTING OFF:
The Opfor team moves into the field and takes up the positions their team captain or general consensus chooses for their strategic defense of each objective. Roaming patrols between multiple points make it even harder.

The Opfor team will kind of "Huddle up" and talk loudly amongst themselves to mask any noises of the paratrooper team moving into the field to their chosen "DZ", which is naturally unknown to the Opfor team. NOTE: paratrooper team is equipped with a roughly drawn map of the field marking each duffel bag, gun case or whatever sensitive item needs to be secured. this is only a vague location, no map and compass, GPS coordinate crap, keep it simple. this is just to give them an idea. They are blindfolded on the way in to obscure any clues of enemy defense they may see on their way in. Upon reaching their drop zone (as led by a referee or game master) their weapons are scattered about them in the bushes, hung on the branches of nearby trees etc. The paratroopers spin to makethemselves dizzy and obscure the sounds of the ref or game master hiding their weapons etc. It sounds gay, but the effect created is the disorientation and need to regroup and orient on an objective after landing that paratroopers would experience in a chaotic landing.

GAME ON
The timer starts. Paratroopers remove blindfolds and begin to search for their weapons (should only take about 30-60 seconds, just enough to create the effect, (not hide some guys $800 upgraded AEG on him for laughs) Paratroopers regroup, decide which objective(s) to move to, how to engage and destroy any loitering or roaming opfor and route of egress to the RP and win. OPFOR will now begin active defense of their objectives, start roaming patrols and do everything within the game rules and parameters to engage and destroy the attacking paratroopers.

DESIRED EFFECT:

Paratroopers should be encountering a fairly-equivalent force at each objective, or if they encounter a patrol as the Opfor need to split up to cover each objective. Paratroopers should face the challenge of taking KIA at one objective and facing another fully-manned objective with one less man, two less men etc and of course dealing with the handicap of having to carry along ammo, weapons or secured objective items with them. Of course Opfor face the challenge of being split up, isolated or unaware of the paratroopers' initial drop zone and rally points.

if all goes roughly according to this game template, its a pretty tense game as defenders hear other objectives being attacked, or paratroopers being suprised by a roaming guard, lone sniper or ambush between points by tactically-proficient opfor.

It worked out great when we did it. just get everyone to cooperate and know whats going on. good luck, have fun and fight to the last man.

I would go to that OP. It sounds like alot of fun, especially for the Paratroopers.

with the right people and facilities, this would be a great thing to do, then shuffle teams and do again
