A few game ideas

After much MW2, MW3, COD, I still like games that have some "objective". This helps you "find"/anticipate where to find a kill. Here are some ideas you can have/steal:
1. Kill confirmed (sort of)- 2 teams split evenly. Each team has a GREEN or ORANGE 3x5 card on them. When they "die", they drop the card on the ground. Anyone can pick up the card and hold till the end of the game (you pick how long the game is). When you die, you get a new card at the respawn point (handed out be a ref). Team with most cards at end of time limit wins. One respawn area for each team.
2. Reinforcement- 2 teams split evenly. One team takes 1/4 of its people to defend a position against the entire other team for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, the remaining 3/4 of the team joins in as reinforcements to hold the position.
3. Alamo type- a small team defends a position against everyone else. A flag is placed outside the position that must be captured to win the game. Maybe a medic for defenders, attackers have moblie flag-type respawn.
4. No Man's Land- a "WW1 trench type" game where each team has objectives that must be completed in between the 2 team lines. We played this at Ft. Campbell field and each team had tasks like "throw a rubber chicken over the other the defenders line", "set a bomb", "retrieve fallen comrade", "set up listening post without being killed", etc... Teams had a penalty if they failed to complete mission within 5 minutes. Penalties included losing 2 team members for 2 minutes, losing 1/2 of team for 2 minutes, and losing 2 team members to other side for rest of match. Common respawn outside of game area.
5. Gold Rush - a building (or any area) had a stash of gold bricks (gold painted bricks). Attackers knew where they were, defenders did not. Defenders got to take the field first for 5 minutes. Then attackers went to recover the bricks and bring back to base. If attacker was killed, brick must be dropped. Game works better if there are some buildings to hide the bricks in. Defenders get a "mobile flag-type respawn, attackers must walk to a respawn.
6. Birthday party - each team has 20 balloons (or you pick how many) filled with water. Balloons must be tied to a PVC pole and carried from one position to a "safe house". Teams can tie as many, or as few, balloons as possible and run with the pole. Runners have pistols only (or no weapon). If runner is hit, they drop the pole. Time limit game where most intact balloons at safe house wins (or when no intact balloons remain). Played at BK and very intense when other team is shooting at pole runners and balloons. Unlimited respawns.
7. Team deathmatch (sort of) - 2 teams split evenly. Each person gets a water filled long, banana type balloon tied around their shoulder (like an ammo belt). Teams try to find enemies and burst their balloon. NO respawns.
Feel free to pick apart, gripe, offer suggestions / improvements, etc...I really just do it for fun and hope everyone playing has a good time killing and being killed.
