Im thinking that the guards could say "search" and the hostage is on his honor to give up his weapon. But at the begining of the game the terrorists wouldnt think that the hostages have a gun.
The stunned thing sounds like a good idea. Ill find a way to incorporate it.

Now that i think about it, the stun idea might be a bad idea. The hostages would have no incentive to listen to thier captors if they knew they wouldnt "die". They would continue to try to break out.
