Well yes it is easier but is it cooler? Here are some of the bunkers we have built.

First, our check point bunker.

Next Our VC tunnel bunker. Note this is a very low tunnel. It started as part of a trench system that we covered with a combo of slab wood & pallets then as we dug out the bottom we piled the dirt on top. at 230 lbs, I can walk over it

Improvised fighting position dug as part of a demonstration at the East Bloc Basic Warrior.

Soviet troops using what they learned: Dug in on a hill top at East Wind.

lastly this is part of our Nam FOB in progress.

Very, VERY impressive work on those bunkers. Looks as if they were almost proffesionally built.
