So what sort of objective would we be fighting for...a crate of Viagra?

Ok, back on topic.

This is just a survey, nothing is going to change at TAS, at the moment. So far (except for posts above) there has been good input. Keep it up.

This could be a controlled test of maturity, the no-hit calling, complaining about getting stung by a bb and unogranization of players. Just an idea, see the outcome of the two games then compare and contrast.

I liked the idea of like 15 or 16 and up and others are with parents on site or invite only.
If you're under 15 or 16 and your parent isn't there no play unless you have in the past proven your maturity etc etc... And of course you can still be banned from the field if you don't follow the rules, etc etc etc as per the usual rules that apply to everyone. This way we have less of a safety/hit calling risk/problem... And the problems that remain are people that more than likely need to be removed from play/banned from the field... (Course everyone deserves 1 warning...) my 2 cents. Also on the topic of 18+ 17- I think that would divide the community and it appears that the average age of everyone is between 17-22(just a guesstimate)...

Thanks for the acknowledgment Wes sprague! Banning kids sounds great till you get a line of whiny parents. Wes Morrell has a private game deal available. $50 to rent the field for four hours. so $100 rents it for 8. (paintball, but Im sure he wouldn't mind extra cash on an unscheduled day) so set up a forum for people interested, and who can pitch in to the $100 and play.

Adult only games would bring back some of the players who left some time back. I think personally one open day and one adult day a month. The kids dont need private matches because ultimately they have to be ran and managed by adults. If the kids want private games, let their mommys rent the field. I think you would see a lot more support from people who have been gone a while.

says the guy with a lovely attitude in a sig line ^^^

Honestly the population at TAS games has not been mostly adults lately. I'd say it's maybe 55% under 18 and 45% 18 and older. I'd say there's a bad apple in every bunch, but like medic said, there are kids there who act more like adults than some of the adults. Why get rid of them? Want a 18 and over only game? Reserve a day, don't appoint a planned game to be an adults only game.

Rik is right. This survey is not about how much business they get or making anything permanet. This was to gauge intrest and to observer reponses. Most of the younger players are new, and thats great. Our community needs the younger players to grow into older vets. But, we also dont want to drive off our older vets who are looking for a more challnging game. Since PPN is gone maybe TAS can share play dates. This is just a discussion.
