Local Airsoft Community

ok The forums don't seem to have too many people on here, so I'm curious as to how many active people we have(at least once a week) on here.

And I'm also wanting to urge everyone to try and bring friends and family out to try airsoft... our local community would only benefit by growth of the sport. We also need to find people that have played, even if just once, and convince them to come out if they can. I want to see the local community grow, and hopefully some of these other fields that were supposedly being worked on are actually being worked on and may be open to public games soon. Everybody wants and needs to get out and have a little fun every once in awhile, why not make it something fun like airsoft. And most of us know it is alot cheaper than paintball (try to get some paintballers out to try it if you can.)

Our numbers at TAS the last game were probably around 20 or less, I'm not sure exactly, but there wasn't many there at all. However at the couple games before the last one we had numbers in the 30s, 40s, maybe even 50s or so... That is a pretty good turn out.

The forms seem so empty lately, and I understand that people have lives and work family, etc i'm just curious about this and trying to raise moral and urge people to try airsoft and/or bring some of the players of the past back.

Wes and I got some buddies interested in getting into airsoft. We'll try to get them out to play at TAS sometime.

Thats great Duy! Daulton, that is good but we need more people who are excited and attend the games! Spread the word and info about airsoft... But make sure you spread it in a good light. Remind people that we have rules and are concerned about safety... Real airsoft isn't kids shooting each other with realistic appearing bb guns in their back yards.

We also need some people who will donate their time to the local community. Spark needs some more people willing to ref/help out at the games. even if it is just 1 match it helps. When we get 20-30-40+ people 2-3 refs just doesn't cut it. Then you get people who complain about other people for x reason and there isn't enough refs to really make the problem go away, which in turn makes people not want to come out and play. So we defiantly need some willing volunteers to help out. This also includes new game ideas we can try too!
