Official Field Rules

1. GOGGLES MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES ON THE FIELD AND IN THE TARGET RANGE.
At no time during the game will a player be allowed to break the seal of the goggle from around their eyes UNLESS they are in a NETTED Re-spawn area. There are no exceptions to this rule!
Only goggles / eyewear that meet the following requirements will be allowed:
The impact standard for goggles is ANSI z.87.1.
They must fully encompass the eyes, with no gaps.
They must be fitted with a head strap to keep them from falling off during a game.
The lens frame must be sturdy enough to keep the lens in place during play.
Mesh goggles will be allowed ONLY with safety glasses or eyeglasses worn underneath.

In addition, when entering the play area a player’s ears, nose and mouth should be covered / blocked with something preventing penetration of BBs, such as a paintball mask, balaclava, bandana (any color but red,) etc. All minors under the age of 18 years old will be required to wear full face masks covering the mouth, ears, nose and other soft tissue.

2. No Shoot Zones:

There is a no-mag rule while in the safe areas (all areas outside of the playing fields.) All magazines need to be removed from your weapon until you step foot onto the playing field. When exiting the field, you should remove your magazine, make sure the chamber is empty, and 'safety on' your weapon.
Players who need to test their weapons must step into the fenced area of the target range or playing field to do so.
No shooting into or out of the staging area, parking lot, or re-spawn waiting areas.
NO BLIND SHOOTING - players must be able to see what they are shooting at. Players may never shoot at another player who is closer than the minimum engagement distance of 15 feet. If an opponent is closer than 15 feet away, a player should shout "BANG" in order to notify the opponent he/she has been eliminated at extreme close range. You must have an open line of sight to perform a “bang” kill - a "bang" kill may not be performed through a barrier or through netting. While head shots count, players are asked not to intentionally target another player’s head.
BE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS AND USE GOOD GUN SAFTEY PRACTICES. THERE IS TO BE ABSOLUTLEY NO DISCHARGING OF WEAPONS IN THE SAFE ZONES.

3. FPS LIMITS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED. All guns must be choreographed prior to game time. Players may also be chosen at random for handheld chronograph spot-checks.
AEG........…………..........400 fps with .25 gram BB
............................................(Min Engagement Distance 15 (feet)

Designated Marksman........401-450 fps with.25 gram BB
.............................................Single fire or 3 round burst use only, no full auto.
............................................(Min Engagement Distance 50 feet)

"SAW".........……............401-450 fps with .25 gram BB
..........................................(Min Engagement Distance 50 feet)
Sniper Rifle..........…….....500 fps with .25 gram BB
......................................... (Spring or Co2 powered single shot rifle)
..........................................(Min Engagement Distance 100 feet)
All guns will be chronographed prior to the beginning of the game. You will be given 2 attempts, consisting of no more than 3 shots each, in which to chronograph at the appropriate FPS. If your gun is unable to chronograph legal after 2 attempts, you will not be able to use that weapon in the game.

Once your gun passes the chronograph test, it will have a colored zip tie attached to it classifying it as either a Standard or a Sniper class weapon. No weapons without zip ties will be allowed on the field of play.
All guns are subject to a chronograph test at any time deemed necessary by the event organizer or referees. Any modifications made to your gun after being choreographed found to increase your FPS will result in your immediate and permanent removal from the field. No refunds will be issued.
The Event Organizer and Referees are the authorities in determining weapon eligibility. Their decisions are final.
4. 6mm Metal BBs are not allowed. Permanent removal from the field is mandatory for this violation.
5. AVOID FIELD HAZARDS. Players should avoid all field hazards such as fences, ruts, and vines. Guests should report any hazard to the field operator. Players may not construct anything that will hinder the movement or cause injury to other players. Players are not allowed to construct any sort of booby traps, roadblocks, barricades or bunkers. Players may not alter any natural or man-made features in the playing area.
7. Players may never climb trees or tree stands, enter or exit a structure through a window, or climb onto or under any prop vehicles.

8. NO UNAUTHORIZED EQUIPMENT. Players are not allowed to bring onto the playing field any equipment deemed unsafe by the Event Organizer. Players on the field are not allowed to carry real knives of any kind, explosive or other pyrotechnic devices, real firearms, or other non-Airsoft related items. No metal cleats on shoes or boots.
9. No personal cameras or video recording equipment will be allowed on the field during play without permission from Grab Some Fun.
Smoke grenades and/or BB grenades must be individually approved by the Event Organizer before use in the game.

10. NO VERBAL ABUSE OR PHYSICAL CONTACT. No profanity, name calling, or slurs against anyone’s race, color, national origin, family members, teams or equipment will be tolerated. A player may not touch another player or their equipment at any time without their express permission.

11. REFEREES’ DECISIONS ARE FINAL. Any decision a referee makes is final and will not be discussed on the playing field. The referee will discuss any calls in a calm manner off-field after the game or scenario is over.
Players who are found by a referee to have violated any of the rules listed here will be asked by the Event Organizer to leave the game with no refund issued.
12. AGE REQUIREMENT. All players must be 12 years old or older to participate. Players under eighteen years old are required to have a Parental Waiver signed and dated by their parent or legal guardian. NO EXCEPTIONS. An emergency contact phone # must be provided for all players under 18 years of age.
13. ELIMINATION. A player is eliminated from play if a BB strikes any part of his/her body, from the top of the head to the tips of the fingers to the bottoms of the feet, including any of equipment or gear worn.
Hit Rules:

The days play will work on a one hit kill basis. Some games may have medics in play, and will allow a player to call for a medic to be healed after being hit, but unless specified otherwise, players will be considered ‘dead’ after one hit. Gun hits and ricochets do not count as kill shots.

Players are encouraged to avoid intentional headshots. Center mass should be used for hits whenever possible, but if a player only presents his head then he/she should not complain if they get shot in the head.

Red Dead Rags usage: When a player is hit, and considered out by game play rules, the player should take his Dead Rag and place it on his head in a visible area as he exits the field. Failure to do so may result in un-merited shots from over anxious players. It is always suggested for a dead player to walk in the non-active areas of play when returning to the Re-spawn or staging areas. By walking into a hot fire zone you agree that you may be caught in crossfire and shot while dead. No complaints should be lodged if you choose to walk into a hot area. Accordingly, all involved players are not to engage dead players as targets, if they walk into crossfire that is their mistake, if you deliberately target them, it is yours.

14. Lost/Found Equipment:

Any equipment that you may discover on the field should be turned in to field officials or game staff. Attempts will be made to return the lost equipment to its rightful owner. It is suggested for players to label their equipment to make it easier to identify.

Eliminated players are considered dead and MUST NOT talk or communicate in any way with their teammates until they have returned to the Re-spawn area. This applies to verbal tips (radio included), body language or hand gestures.
Eliminated players are not allowed to give any equipment or supplies to any other player, but may quietly leave equipment lying where they were eliminated.
Airsoft is a game of HONOR and Sportsmanship. ALL players strive to exemplify fair play and call their hits, regardless of circumstance. In situations where a player isn’t sure, they should give their opponent the benefit of the doubt and simply call themselves out. You will not have to wait long to get back into the game if you are eliminated, so please call your hits!

Cheating will not be tolerated in any form by any player. If you are caught cheating you will be ejected from the event, asked to leave and you will NOT get a refund.

15. MEDICS. A medic can revive a wounded player without going to Re-spawn. A wounded player may not move, fire a weapon or speak any words but “Yes”, “No” and “Medic!” The wounded player must kneel or lie down exactly where he was hit and call “Medic!” until a Medic comes to heal him. Medics are assigned by team commanders.
To heal a wound, a Medic must remain in physical contact with the wounded character for one full minute before tying a bandage around the wounded player’s arm. The Medic may not move, fire or do anything else but crouch next to the wounded player while the minute passes. The bandage must not be tied on until one full minute has passed.
16. Safety Briefings:

All players wishing to engage in gaming at Grab Some Fun will be required to be present for a safety briefing. You must be present for the briefing to take the field on game day. This does not mean if you hear a briefing on one date, you are exempted from it any other time.
17. PACK IT IN – PACK IT OUT! Do not leave trash of any kind on the premises. Litter Bugs will be not be tolerated!
