I'd say let them call the cops. As long as you bring your gun directly from your car into the shop and back, it shouldn't be a problem. I mean, it IS kinda obvious that it's an airsoft gun when you're walking into an airsoft store. All that some nosy douche would really accomplish is wasting the cop's time.

If anythng, go to a dollar store and buy some black trash bags to cover the gun up. Anything to hide it.
Whats funny is that in bigger towns like our area, you really have to watch about having a firearm (replica or other wise) out in the open.
Yet in a mountain town of Claypool hill Va the mall up there has a gun store in it (Trader Jerrys). I couldn't tell you how many guns I saw going in and out of there and let me tell you those guys carry some serious heat up there. Can you guys imagine the looks you would get if you tried that in our malls? LOL

i think that this post was a good idea. when you get yourself use to the sport, the idea of carying a m4 around or what ever, you dont really think about how it comes across to some older lady that has never heard of the sport. it is a VERY good idea, i think, that we all remember to be careful with these guns, or not get to have them (legally) at all.
