Hello again everyone!!!
July is going to be a busy month but we have a date set for our first ever Operation Jungle Fury!!
The date is going to be July 12th 2008 at Play Play Paintball Now in Fall Branch TN.
This is going to be a Vietnam themed objective based game set on PPN's massive 100+ acre field.
On behalf of Team H.E.A.T. I want to invite each and every one of you out for what is to be H.E.A.T.'s biggest game
to date. We have put on 3 smaller games so far this year and have drew an average of around 40 but we are confident this will be our biggest game yet.
Our games have been mostly laid back but our goal for Jungle Fury is for it to have more af an "Op" feel to it.
The game will have 2 main sides. U.S. Forces and NVA forces but will also have small units within each side such as Air/Cav- Infantry, USAF ParaRescue and Green Berets
The NVA will have regular NVA and Vietcong.
The game types are going to be objective based. For this game he have tried to be detailed but not to complicated on our objectives. They will be somewhat "standard" airsoft objectives but will have a strong Vietnam flavor to them.
We already have 5 different objective games planned and are doing the final changes as needed on them. They will be MUCH more outlined than the D-Day ones were. And also be prepared for the an objective or 2 to change mid game, just like real combat.
The games are not going to be based around the urban field like usual PPN games. The urban field will be used but not like it has been. The games will largely be based in the woodland area of PPN that up to this point has been used very little by airsofters.
The ābase campā area for the game will not be on the d-day hill OR at the very bottom of the facility like the last game. It will be based in a large clearing by the road on up in the woodland area. This is to avoid most of the long uphill walking that we have always had to do at PPN that a lot of people really donāt like. If your vehicle cant make it to that area we will work on getting you and your equipment up to that area for you.
CHRONO LIMITS.
AEG-400fps
SAW-450fps
Aeg Sniper/DMR-500fps (SEMI AUTO ONLY)
Bolt action sniper-550fps
We are giving an allowance of 20fps due to differences in chronos, etc.
At this game the chronoing is going to be done using a tagging system. When you chrono your gun it will be tagged. Any gun that is not tagged is considered illegal and will not be allowed on the field. Anyone who is caught in a game with a gun that is not tagged will be asked to leave immediately. We will also reserve the right to spot check any gun on the field at any time!!!
HIT CALLING POLICY.
The Policy on not calling hits is going to be much more strict than our previous games. All of us, especially me personally was disappointed in the amount of non hit calling in the last game and things are going to change this time. Its simple. If you hit someone and your SURE that you hit them and they fail to call the hit. Find a ref or call for a ref and tell them. Not after the game, right then. The ref WILL keep an eye on that person and if they are caught not calling a hit they will be pulled from the game and asked to leave immediately. No exceptions regardless of what team there on. If you hit someone and they donāt call it, DO NOT start yelling at that person. Find a ref immediately. We want everyone to come to this game and have a great time. We donāt want to have to make an example of someone but we will. So the best way to avoid that is simpleā¦ CALL YOUR HITS!! We will have refs at this game and were going to try to have more than we did at the D-Day game.
COMPANY COMMANDERS.
Each side is going to have a Company Commander who will be in charge of each side. They will be responsible for leading their respective team into battle. There will be time allotted before each game for āplanning and strategyā This will be the time for the Commanders to gather their company and devise a game plan. They will also be able to communicate directly with the refs on the radio during the games.
REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPANY COMMANDERS.
Must be 18 years of age or older. 21 or over is preferred but not required.
Must carry a radio.
Must be prepared to lead a group of players that could exceed 25 or more
The use of company commanders is to give the game a little more organization and a more mil-sim feel. Their job and responsibilities are to run their company as far as game planning and strategy, make sure their company is playing honorably, and basically make sure that their guys are all having fun. Going on a power trip and acting like a jerk is not one of the requirements and wont be tolerated. Be a leader, but remember its still a game and we all want to enjoy ourselves.
Anyone interested in being a company commander needs to PM myself, kptninja or xandman. We will want to know about your airsoft experience, what major ops, if any that you may have attended, if your on a team what team it is and your position on that team. And basically why you want to be a commander. Please try and get your request into one of us ASAP because we are going to try and assign company commanders ASAP.
I want to point out right up front that this is something to add more fun to the game and add organization. It shouldnāt be used as a basis to start a flame war. If you donāt think you will get along with the commander of your team keep in mind that we are going to fully brief them as to what we expect of them VIA pm on here or possibly by telephone. Everyone will be treated with respect by their commanders.
UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS.
U.S. Forces
Mike Force (Special Forces-green beret)
Tiger Stripe or Multicam
ParaRescue (AF special forces to search for downed aircrews)
Woodland or green marpat
Air Cav/Infantry- OD
Enemy Forces
NVA- Tan (also any desert uniform) or desert marpat
VC- Black
These uniform codes are HIGHLY RECCOMMENDED but not required. We arenāt going to turn anyone away because of uniforms but we kindly ask that you wear something that fits into these categories if at all possible. If we have to adjust teams for reasons such as lopsided numbers-etc, we will most likely adjust based on what style uniforms people are wearing.
TEAM SELECTION.
We understand that a lot of you are going to want to play on one particular side. Pre-entering is not required but we are going to have some forms for pre-entry that will have a place to designate what team you request to play on. It will also be dated so that if we do have to adjust we can look at the sheets and not move someone who requested a certain team early. Most of all we just ask that everyone be willing to be flexible. And the best way to ensure what team you will play for is to pre- enter and request it AND wear the correct style uniform for that team. If the teams are just mildly uneven we arenāt going to really worry too much about it because very few battle are fought where both sides are equal. We will only adjust if its way lopsided.
GAME TYPES.
This area of PPN has very seldom been played on by airsofters if ever at all. So the first game of the day will be a quick 30 minute deathmatch style game just for everyone to get a feel for the game area.
The main type of game for the day will all be objective based games. We havenāt gone too extremely detailed on this game as its really our first true scenario style game. The games will basically be the traditional style objectives ( search and rescue, take the hill, ambush, etc.) But will be much more detailed than usual and very outlined. As of right now there are 5 different objective games for the day with a time limit of 2 hours on them except for one which will have no time limit.
Keep in mind that these games are a bit more detailed than you might be used to. There will be more to it than running and shooting.

What seemed like just another mission for the crew of a USAF A-6 Intruder goes terribly wrong when their aircraft was hit by an NVA SAM missle. As lucky as they were to be able to eject from their doomed jet their lives are still in terrible danger when they find themselves lost deep in the treacherous hillside deep in enemy territory, injured, and lightly armed. Luckily for them the USAFās elite ParaRescue unit to save the downed men. If the NVA doesnāt find them firstā¦ā¦ā¦
A U.S. Firebase housing members of the storied Army Air Cavalry division was attacked in the middle of the night and savagely killing several men. Before the U.S. forces could mount a counter attack the NVA retreated into a nearby hillside. Morning has came and these revenge hungry troops have been given a simple mission. Go into the hillside, find the NVA and kill them. The enemyās numbers are not known for sure and what seems like revenge for these soldiers could wind up being a day there lucky to live throughā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦
I will be more than happy to answer any questions any of you may have regarding the game. This is my first venture in planning a game and im very excited about it.
