July 26- TAS Event : NEW RULES INSIDE, PLEASE REVIEW THEM

The next TAS event will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2008.

From this point forward we will be instituting some new field rules, and game play requirements they are as follows:

EVERY PLAYER ATTENDING MUST PROVIDE YOUR OWN DEAD RAG (if you do not have a dead rag you will not be allowed to participate in game play) FOR THIS GAME AND A FEW GAMES FOLLOWING IT WE WILL HAVE A VERY LIMITED NUMBER OF DEAD RAGS ON HAND FOR PLAYERS WHO MAY HAVE NEVER ATTENDED A GAME AT TAS OR HEARD ABOUT IT THROUGH WORD OF MOUTH.

New medic rules that will be used from this point forward will be as such:

EACH PLAYER MUST SUPPLY HIS/HER OWN 12" PIECE OF PARACORD OR ROPE.

The games utilizing medics will begin with each player having 3 knots tied in their rope. If they are hit, they drop where they were hit, the first hit any player may heal any other player by untying the three knots.

If hit a second time, the medic would be the only person who can heal you, they reach you and tie three knots back in to your rope.

On the third and final hit you must walk back to your respawn point to come back into the game.

If you fail to provide a piece of rope or cant find an extra piece, then you must respawn each time you are hit.

ANYONE WHO FIRES THEIR WEAPON OUTSIDE OF THE FENCED PLAYING AREA WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT REFUND. THERE HAVE BEEN SEVERAL INSTANCES OF THIS THAT WE HAVE BEEN EASY ON WITH PAST GAMES, BUT FOR THE SAKE OF US BEING ABLE TO CONTINUE TO PLAY AT TAS THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED FROM THIS POINT FORWARD.

FINALLY A NO-TOLERANCE POLICY WILL BE ENFORCED REGARDING HIT CALLING DUE TO ACTIONS AT OTHER FIELDS AND AT TAS.

IF A PLAYER DECIDES TO NOT CALL REPEATED HITS, AND THIS IS WITNESSED BY MORE THAN ONE REPUTABLE PLAYER, THEN THE PLAYER IN QUESTION WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE FIELD WITHOUT REFUND.

There were a couple of instances at past games where people have led charges to complete an objective and are witnessed taking multiple hits without calling them, NO MORE.

We would happily sacrifice the 5-15 dishonest players we see repeatedly than loose the entire group due to not enforcing this policy.

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH, DO NOT WANT TO PLAY BY, OR WANT TO ARGUE THESE RULES, THEN DO US A FAVOR AND SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DONT ATTEND THE GAME. IT TAKES THE FUN OUT OF THE GAME FOR ALL THE PLAYERS WHO CAME OUT TO HAVE A GOOD TIME, AND WHO PLAY HONESTLY.

PLEASE REVIEW ALL THE RULES FOR TAS PRIOR TO ATTENDING THE NEXT GAME AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EVERYTHING YOU NEED. THERE ARE SEVERAL THINGS IN THE WORKS FOR TAS AIRSOFT GAMES, AND WE ARE MAKING ALL THE ADJUSTMENTS NOW FOR THOSE FUTURE EVENTS.
