i just picked up 5 more barrels... again, 2.00 a piece. not as nice as the first five, but still in great shape. i NEED to get up there though and place them/arrange them in some sort of shape to see if i need more. i'm thinking 5 more, but without knowing how the first ten will work out (space they will take) it's just a guess and i hate to buy them if i won't need them. G'ah!
we are going to need a new 9x8 tarp though...sadly, the ultra high near tornado-force winds have popped the gromments out of our old one and ripped it up some. surprisingly though, it's still on the CP and still providing some limited protection. wow...we build good! so soon as i can, i'll grab another one and get it up there. hopefully this will be the LAST bad BAD storm thru for a long while. hell, the old tarp lasted all Summer and Fall and most of the Winter...so a tarp or so a year "ain't" too bad, i reckon.
really itching to do some work up there...but good gosh is it WET! water standing everywhere. even on the hillsides.
