guys... just a heads up on building materials for the site... got to be nature friendly. got to be. think about the beauty of the woods up there, the plant and animal life...and how enjoyable it is to be up there in the fresh air/sunshine/everything. we can't spoil that...even at the expense of building an airsoft field.
i need the help...and i really need people donating items/material... but it has to be done in a way that will not hurt the land or require MASSIVE cleanup/expensive cleanup if for some reason if we no longer want to use it as an airsoft field.
it can be done. and already mostly is. everything i've got up there right now can be easily and quickly taken down...or, at worst, left to rot and vanish from sight in a few years. and that's how we've got to keep it.
think wood (that will rot) all kinds of wood... poles, planks, plywood, paneling, fiberboard, pallets...etc. or thin plastic tarps that will eventually decay and break down and rot. hay bales that will rot. sand bags that will rot. tin or something similiar that can be taken down quickly and easily and hauled away. those sort of things.
no rubber or petro-chemicals...no 550 pound stainless steel I-beams... no copper tubing or steel or plastic drums filled with acid or something similiar or batteries...etc, that can leak stuff or turn into hunks of dangerous rust and be too heavy to be loaded up by one person and hauled away.
you get the idea.
