BAM Steel Airsoft Targets

Postby Rogue Element » Sat Jan 31, 2009 11:47 pm

Let's face it, when we were all newbies to airsoft (admit it, we were all "noobs" at some point in time - though some will still argue that they were born mil-sim enlightened), shooting at empty aluminum soda cans gave us some amount of childish satisfaction. Something about the sound of your pellets hitting and puncturing the thin metal skin was oddly gratifying.

But, after you evolve out of the initial "Noob" stage, shooting at those aluminum cans is just no so "tacti-cool" anymore.

Taking a page from IPSC and USPSA practical shooting competitions, two guys, named Burt and Martin (hence BaM), came up with a simple idea, make airsoft-grade steel shooting targets. It's one of those ideas that is so simple, we each wish we had thought of it.

Now, when you train and/or compete, you can have the hugely satisfying, solid "Ping" report of your shots hitting, and dropping, the steel targets. Silhouette shapes range from Fatheads, SkinnyHeads, Plate, and Heads & Torsos.
